Spring Break in Arizona

 .

My family just enjoyed a quick trip to Arizona for spring break.

It was fun to leave the snow and cold behind and warm up for a bit.

We enjoyed hiking at Piestewa Peak.

The beautiful views

A topography that we flatlanders certainly weren't used to!

Such a different ecology

So good to be outside enjoying God's creations.

And definitely good exercise!
(I am so out of shape!)

We also enjoyed hiking Papago Park.

With its amazing rock formations

Those last 20+ feet were too steep for me!
I left that to the boys!

So lovely!

We stayed at a resort that we have been to before and thoroughly enjoy.

I so love all of the Native American artwork!

Beauty and peace abounds!

And the real reason for our trip:

Cubs Fever!

We needed to support our team ;)

Although they didn't win every game, these games don't count lol!

And we were able to see our favorite players.

I also was able to make two stops on my bucket list!
And oh my goodness gracious, they surpassed all expectations!
Wait until you see!

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
~Ephesians 6:10-11

Blessings, Patti
