All my offerings this month are inspired by my favorite time of year – these crisp autumn days as
Thanksgiving is approaching…
My
first offering was inspired by a sweet gift from Ewe & Eye in Osage, Iowa –
a wonderful piece of their specialty hand dyed wool and a sweet little white
pumpkin (as pictured in my blog header above).
“Vintage Pumpkin Pillows” feature
pumpkins made from antique cream and army green wools with an assortment of
backgrounds. Choose from:
1.
Hand-dyed Autumn Wool - pictured above
2.
Antique Coverlet
3.
Antique Ticking
4.
Antique Tweed Wool - note the subtle stripe in this vintage cream wool - I love that detail.
This
is an original Winding Vine Design. They are filled with old cotton batting and
measure approximately 5 by 6 inches. Each is backed with a coordinating fabric.
I am offering “Vintage Pumpkin Pillows” for $21 each plus shipping.
Gobble
Thanksgiving Pillow is based on a design by Jenny Hoffman of Country Rustic
Primitives. Gently aged, it is accented with a coordinating homespun and is
backed with the same fabric. As with all of my creations, it is completely hand
stitched. It measures approximately 4 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches long and is
accented with vintage cotton rick rack. It is also stuffed with vintage cotton
batting. Gobble Thanksgiving Pillow is offered at $30 plus shipping.
Give
Ye Thanks Pillow is based on a sweet design by Lori Brechlin of Notforgotten Farm. This cross-stitched piece features hand-dyed linen and floss that has
been gently aged. It is accented with a coordinating primitive plaid flannel
and is backed with the same fabric. As with all of my creations, it is
completely hand stitched. It measures approximately 3 inches tall by 9 inches long
and is accented with an antique skeleton key. Give Ye Thanks is stuffed with vintage
cotton batting. Perfect sitting on a windowsill or tucked in a cupboard. Give
Ye Thanks Pillow is offered at $30 plus shipping.
