A few final 2018 finishes

Happy New Year!
I had a few final finishes before the clock struck midnight...

"Plum Pudding"
by With Thy Needle and Thread

This was so fun to stitch and fun to finish as well.

These little mouse bakers are so sweet!

I decided to change the colors up a bit to work with how I wanted to finish it.

I finished stitching these two Pineberry Lane designs last Christmas but never fully finished them.
When I picked the backing fabric, I was so happy with it that I decided to put some of it on the front as well.

"O Tannenbaum"
by Pineberry Lane

I used the backing fabric to create a narrow binding for this pillow.

"Merry Little Stitches"
by Pineberry Lane

Although these were two totally separate patterns,
I thought that they would look so sweet together as a set.

So I changed the colors up a bit to make them more cohesive.

I will enjoy my new finishes for a few more days, before I starting packing away the Christmas decorations.

I've enjoyed posting on Instagram for the past four months.
It was fun to see what my top nine posts were for 2018.
These were the pictures that had the most likes.

Now that we are officially in 2019, I'm starting on my New Year's Resolutions.
My fun resolution is #stitchfrommystash
I have so much stitching stash, I could never complete it all if I live to 100!
I know that I can't stop shopping completely, after all I have to keep my favorite designers and shops in business LOL! But each month, I am going to pick two projects from my stash to work on. Hopefully, one wool and one cross stitch. Won't you join me? If so please use the hashtag #stitchfrommystash on Instagram. I'd love to see what you are working on too!

I hope to pull my two January projects out today and will share in my next blog post.

Wishing you and yours a Happy 2019 ~ full of stitching!

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
~Luke 2:13-14

Blessings, Patti

You have the BEST finishes.
Wow. Let's see how that resolution works for you. You always come home from trips with so many wonderful new projects. I'd love to join you in your journey, but I haven't a clue about Instagram.
I feel the same way about my wool addiction. I can't use all my wool if I live to be a hundred and ten, but that doesn't stop me from buying more...lol!
Happy New Year!

I love what you've done with these designs. Especially the narrow fabric edging which I have failed in every attempt! I may have to add these charts to my list. Happy new year!
