Osage 2017 ~ Part 1

The Bittersweet Stitching Sisters returned to our beloved Osage, Iowa this year.

Such a beautiful time of the year to visit.

And look at this beauty! Kim brings a delicious chocolate cake each year from her local bakery for us to enjoy and this one was just gorgeous! Hard to cut into it was so pretty, but we managed lol!

We are so lucky, we just walk down the stairs and we are in The Stitchery Nook!
I *may* have shopped there every day and still I forgot to take pictures!
You'll have to stop by their website or Facebook page to take a peek.

Here are a few of my purchases ~ I had to restock on my favorite needles and couldn't resist some Murky linen and another unusual color.

I think that each of the Bittersweet Stitching Sisters couldn't resist this pattern and I just had to kit it up with such a wonderful selection of fabrics and fibers to choose from.

A few more new designs all kitted up and ready to go.
As much as I tried to work only on UFO's while we were there,
I couldn't resist starting one new project once kitted:

I better hurry if I want to enjoy it this year!

We were so excited to see some new restaurants in Osage:

We had a delicious dinner at Taste one night.

I loved this great artwork in the bathroom

And Piggy Back Smoke Shack was also awesome!

Our trip journal has just begun :)
Next I'll be back with a favorite pilgrimage of ours...

Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
~Psalm 62:2

Blessings, Patti

This looks like a great shop to do some retail therapy. :)
Sounds like a fun time with fellow stitchers.
