From Our Hands ~ Creative *Class with Stacy Nash*

The class that I took with Stacy Nash was Beekeeper's Inn Sewing Box.
As soon as I saw the picture I knew that I had to make it.

The colors of both threads and linen were even prettier in person.

On the lid I switched up the Inn just a tad and added a tiny ricrac trim around the edge.

The inside of Stacy's original box was very pretty,

but I couldn't help myself and I changed it up a bit.
I loved the winding vine  and bee skep on the cover so much that I had to repeat it.
And I thought it needed a beekeeper/innkeeper too.

I thought the gardening gal from Stacy's "Spring at Hollyberry Farm" made the perfect beekeeper!
Of course there had to be a dachsund, too!

The same tiny ricrac trim and a little wool applique bee added to the velvet bottom.
So happy with another finish from this lovely retreat!

It was so wonderful to see Stacy's Animal Crackers in person!
I know that they have been extremely popular,
but let me tell you that they are even more darling in person!

And her mushroom pincushions, too!
We even had a sneak peek of new things to come, but I will wait for Stacy to share those ;)

Another fun part of these retreats is seeing others creations.
Roxanne shared her absolutely amazing quilt top.
The tiny details were absolutely breathtaking!

And this beautiful pine needle pinkeep owned by Kim was a beautiful work of art.

Mom and I did have one morning off without classes and decided to explore the area.
I'll have a bit of that in my next post.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
~Proverbs 31:30-31

Happy Mothers Day MOM!!!!

Blessings, Patti
