My second finish for 2015:
Stacy Nash's Country Sampler Sleigh Bells Ornament
from the Country Sampler Girls Club
I switched it up to match the pinkeep that I recently finished.
I thought the tree needed a little dimension so I added a bit of darker green here and there.
I'm pleased with them both.
Now I'm thinking it is time to quickly move on to some Valentine stitching.
It will be here in less that a month!
We have a house guest staying with us this weekend.
His name is Apollo :)
It feels so good to have a dog in the house!
He settled right in as his family is good friends of ours and he knows us pretty well.
He found a comfy spot very quickly.
He's a pretty big dog at 50+ pounds,
We were used to our little 12 pounder, Orion.
Maybe come spring, we might be ready to welcome another rescue into our home.
In the meantime, we will enjoy our weekend with Apollo.
“With what shall I come before the Lord,
and bow myself before God on high?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with calves a year old?
Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?”
He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
~Micah 6: 6-8
Blessings, Patti

Apollo looks very content. He's gorgeous
Great finishes.
Apollo looks right at home.
When the time is right (and it sounds like it may be sooner rather than later), you will be ready to welcome a new furbaby in to your life.
Hugs :)

Beautiful pieces and finish work.
What a cute pup. It took me over a year before I could think about getting another dog, so when the time is right, you will know.

Love your finishes.

Oh do I love that rick rack! And of course, the puppa.
Apollo is adorable and I so love your pinkeeps. Janice
Great finishes! And what a cute houseguest. ;)

Apollo does look right at home! Love Kim's finish and the sleigh looks great also. I love rickrack and I suspect it is only on Winding Vine Wanderings that Kim will ever be caught dead in rickrack...her loss!! Lisa
Love your finishes, Patti! I think the dark green in the tree definitely added a bit more oomph! Have fun with the dog - he looks like he might be a handful!N
Cute guest! :-) And your finish is wonderful!

Cute ...Apollo
Beautiful stitching xx
Such beautiful stitching and finishing! I had to do a double take as my finishing business name is "Finely Finished" also. You ladies are so fortunate to be able to share stitching and friendship.
