December Offerings

Greetings! Advent Season is here! The first candle of Hope has been lit. And Christmas will be here before we know it… I try to savor the joyous anticipation, but the stress and hurriedness tend to creep in on me.  I’m very excited about this month’s offerings, so here they are!
All of this month’s offerings are based on a single sweet design by The Prairie Schooler.

First is “Bringing Home the Tree” Thread Board. This piece is both lovely to display and useful. I added amber mother of pearl rings for holding threads on one side.

On the back I included a red plaid wool pocket for embroidery scissors (not included) and a black ribbon tie to keep them safe and secure. There is also a plaid wool tree needle and pin keep. The front is complimented by a Christmas calico and three embroidered Christmas Trees on the seam. It has a base of thin mat board, so that it is stiff and can be propped up on a shelf or table. It measures approximately 4.5 inches by 6 inches (not including the rings) and is completely handsewn.
“Bringing Home the Tree”  Thread Board is sold.
Thank you ever so much!

I’ve continued making pinch pockets this month as well – from the same design as the thread board. These pinch pockets are perfect for a small spool of thread, a small pair of embroidery scissors, and even a few other notions.

Each measures approximately 4 inches across and 3 inches tall. Items are stored safely inside until you gently press the two corners together to open. The pinch pocket is backed with the same Christmas calico as is featured on the thread board and is lined with the same army green wool.

As with all of my offerings, they are completely handsewn.
Please specify barn, family or truck.
~*All pinch pockets are sold. Thank you ever so much!*~

I am still planning on having two more giveaways before the end of the year on my blog (although time slipped away in November) – so visit often J
I will try to have an offering for January, but we will have to wait and see…

Blessings, Patti
