March Giveaway

I finally took some time to put together my giveaway for March.
I also loaded up a few items in my Etsy shop. Take a peek if you have a moment - there are a few antiques and a few handmades.
You can find a link to my Etsy shop on the left.
This month's giveaway is a little sewing vignette. The pincushion is made by me with a reproduction coverlet fabric, two antique abalone buttons and a little patch of early brown calico. I'm also including a vintage paper measuring tape, two wooden spools of thread, a vintage thread wheel, an antique brass skeleton key and a smattering of antique mother of pearl buttons.
I wanted to make a word pillow for Easter and was looking for a religious word that isn't too long. Any ideas? Let me know and enter this giveaway at the same time :) Either leave a comment on this post or send an email to me at pgagliardi9@hotmail.com with Easter Word in the subject line. I will pick a winner using a random number generator Friday night.
Blessings, Patti

What a precious little giveaway, Patti....I love old sewing collectibles - and your vignette is adorable. Ahhh...the word that comes to mind for me is also "Risen"....or, "Alleluia" - but that isn't short. An alternative to "Risen," if you don't mind two words, would be "He Lives".....Can't wait to see your piece and what you choose! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

What wonderful giveaway items! Just beautiful. I think Risen is a good word...but I always think lilies when I think of Easter because there were so many lily plants on the alter during the Easter service.

Oooooh I LOVE the coverlet pinkeep! Funny you should ask about the Easter word one... I just finished "Primitive Easter Pinkeep" by Country Rustic Primitives... I substituted a cross for the key... it's posted on my blog if you want to take a peek... Of course... If you were looing to design your own... I would suggest Risen, Lenten, Rebirth, Holy

Hello Patti,
I have been admiring your beautiful works, and watching the progress on your "Maggie" bed-cover. Everything is lovely as usual. Your little pinny is my favorite of your recent offerings. I'd love to be entered in the giveaway. :) I have always thought that "Grace" is possibly the most beautiful word in the English language...so that is my suggestion. I hope to see you in June at Country Sampler...any chance of that?
Blessings to you,
Rhonda
