"Liberty Inn" For The Inspired Needle's "Inspiring Summer Seminar"
design by Paulette Stewart for Plum Street Samplers
You might remember this as a class that I enjoyed in June. You can read about it here.
My version came home from the framer today:
I'm not very good at sticking with large projects, so I did an abbreviated version.
In the end, I chose not to back-stitch the quilt stars on the house.
I preferred the subtle look.
I was very happy with the mats and the moulding that the framer chose.
I'm so happy with the framed picture and the strawberries!
The stitching projects from one summer class completed!
Last night football / marching band season started at the local high school and we were there to cheer them on - especially one very special tuba player - our son :)
Tomorrow will be spent readying my offerings for September.
The newsletter will be sent out to my mailing list tomorrow night.
The offerings will be posted on my blog on Monday.
"You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand."
Psalm 16:11
Blessings, Patti

That is a beautiful piece and beautiful stitching.

pretty!! :)
Patti, your Liberty Inn is gorgeous. Love the mat and framing. Nicely done.
Beautiful!
This is one of my favorite blogs. I love that you include Scripture at the end of each post; I love your decorating. And your stitching projects are the same as what I would chose. Add to all that, you have a tuba-playing son. I married the tuba player from my high school. lol
Patti: Your version of the pattern is darling. I really like it!! I haven't even put one stitch in mine since we left class. Too many other things calling me away. :)

I think your abbreviated version is really adorable! I haven't worked on my piece since the Seminar, either.
LOVE your Liberty Inn and those strawberries, can't wait to be able to buy charts for them. Thank you for sharing the finished pieces, they are lovely !
Beautiful! Love the soft colors.
Does your son the tuba player ever participate in Tuba Christmas? Those are so much fun to attend.
Hugs :)
