Well, I think that strawberry season is winding down... It was our best year yet. We picked 7 large colanders of berries. We enjoyed the majority of them, but did freeze several quarts to enjoy this winter. There are a few left to snack on while out working in the garden, but that is about it.
I completed one last strawberry project before moving on:
This is "Sweet Delight" by Diane Kramer for Need'l Love. The good news is that raspberry season is on its way...
I'm off to bake bug cookies for the Garden Walk on Sunday. (Well, decorated sugar cookies in the shape of butterflies & bumblebees.) Pictures will be up next week.

but which if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you."

I'm sure I would like to try some of those bug cookies! Any leftovers?
What a sweet strawberry pinkeep - pure stitching perfection, Patti... and those scrumptious berries have my mouth watering just looking at the photo.
I'm gonna have a little down time in the dungeon from Wednesday on - so I can't wait for Tuesday to be over. Sure hope your work week goes by quick too!

Those strawberries look so yummy! Our resident squirrels always had breakfast before we were able to harvest any from our small strawberry patch ...next year we'll have to come up with some type of netting!
Your new pinkeep is beautiful! Your work is so intricate and lovely.
Have fun making bug cookies?? Hmmm, are they crunchy? :)
