Happy Thanksgiving!

painting by Jennifer Schneeman

Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving filled with blessings to each of you!
God has blessed me more than I could have ever imagined.
I am so thankful to him for each and every one of those blessings:
 family, friends, home, career... the list can go on and on.
And I am thankful for each of you that continue to read my little blog.

"Bittersweet" by Annie Beez Folk Art

A finish to remind me how thankful I am for the Bittersweet Stitching Sisters.
Although we wish that we lived closer together,
we are thankful that we are able to spend a week together each year.

It was a fun and quick stitch.

Accented with some ric rac and antique bone buttons.

Enjoy your day with family and friends, parades and football.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.
~Psalm 100:4-5

A Happy Thanksgiving!

The baking is done.

Next up is cooking a traditional meal for family.

My favorite holiday is here!

I love Thanksgiving!

I have so many things to be thankful for!

Including my blogging friends who inspire me so.

Thank you to all those that leave comments or send emails - they really mean a lot to me!

Ever Thankful

"Let Us Be Truly Thankful"
I have so much to be thankful for...
God has blessed me with a life more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.
I'd love to make a list, but wouldn't even know where to begin and where to end.
"Bountiful Blessings"
I'm thankful for all the kindred spirits that I have met through this blog and TDIPT Mercantile.
Life is so much more fun when you are sharing it!

Tuesday night was our United Methodist Women's Circle meeting. Lois served these sweet little acorns with her other treats. I was mesmerized! At 10:30 pm on my way home, I stopped at the grocery store picked up some Nutter Butter Bites, Hershey Kisses (milk & dark) and mini chocolate chips and whipped up a batch to take to Thanksgiving Dinner :)

Wishing you a Heartfelt Thanksgiving with an abundance of blessings!

"Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations."

Thankful & a Giveaway

"Bountiful Blessings"
Country Rustic Primitives
Sometimes I wonder why God has so richly blessed me...
I know that I don't deserve it.
Sure we have our trials and challenges.
But I have my dear husband, two wonderful sons, a fulfilling career and a home in a community where I have wanted to live since 8th grade.
What more could I possibly ask for?
So many bountiful blessings!
And this year we are thankful for the newest member of our family.
Orion has only lived with us for 3 months and we can't imagine life without him.

He is a blessing to each of us.
I am also so thankful for all of the friends that I have made through my blog, Etsy, and TDIPT Mercantile. I have enjoyed this journey and all the kindred souls more than I could have imagined.
To show my thankfulness, I'd like to offer a giveaway:

One of my white velvet pumpkins, two of my handmade leaves (a maple and an oak) and...
A complete Maggie Bonanomi kit!
I believe that this was a class from the Buggy Barn a few years back. I know that I will never get around to it and thought that someone else might appreciate it...
It is a complete kit that contains the ticking background, wools and pattern.
This is an inclusive giveaway ~ I hope that everyone that would like can enter :)
Just leave a comment on this post. If you are not comfortable leaving a comment, you can also send me an email at pgagliardi9@hotmail.com with "Winding Vine Giveaway" in the subject line.
I will be drawing a name next weekend and will get it in the mail right away so that hopefully you will have it in time to enjoy for Thanksgiving.
"And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts."
