I'm back!
Back from my week of being unplugged. This week I have been trying to catch up at home and at work. But more about that later, I want to continue with the wonderful retreat last month.
Our first project was from Tanya Brockmeyer of The Scarlett House.
This lovely package was waiting for us and we couldn't wait to dig in!
Pam and Kim of Tomorrow's Heirlooms introduced us to Tanya and away we went!
It was a large group, but it all worked out so well!
Our morning project was based on this lovely antique that Tanya owns.
And here are our projects shown along with the antique.
I am so thrilled with everything about it!
At the bottom of the tray, Tanya designed an adaptation of the antique coverlet that graced her table of models the night before. I noticed it immediately as I had been admiring her coverlet :)
(You can see it here.)
And look at the sweet matching scissor fob
And darling needlebook too!
So sweet and useful too!
It was a lovely morning and there was more fun to follow!
We left for lunch wondering...

What fun project would Beth Twist of Heartstring Samplery have for us in the afternoon?!
“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven."
