Poor Pitiful Pooch

Our sweet little Orion broke his dewclaw nail near the base while playing a favorite game with his ball. The vet had to remove the nail. Poor sweet baby! Of course I got him some special treats to make him feel better.

After about 24 hours, my husband pointed out that he only limped when we were watching and that he was doing it for our benefit. And you know what ~ it works :) my heart melts everytime!
As soon as the sun peeks out I'll be back with a few finishes...
Blessings, Patti

  2. I just found your blog site, beginning with A Primitive Place Magazine, then Behind My Red Door, and Winter Willow primitives. Your pup is adorable! Sweet boy!
We love primitive decorating, and we have a black/tan mini dachshund, Oskar who is my baby. Have you seen the Dachshund items from Kalyxcraftopia? She also has a blog based on Baxter, their doxie, and she makes the most wonderful harnesses for the dogs. We have three for Oskar. As a talented person, you would likely appreciate her designs.

    Get better sweet pup!

  8. Well just as long as the sweet baby is getting lots and lots of hugs and cuddles, that's all that matters!

  9. Oh, that poor little puppy boy! Bad ball, bad ball! Give that baby boy lots of hugs and kisses- he's so sweet! When my dog had surgery, he put his head down and would give the most pitiful looks....when you were watching. They are so special.

  10. Such a cute puppy..It is always painful for us to watch them when they are in pain...That is now even when Maggie is naughty I remember when she had to go through the 2 painful treatments for Heart Worm and she could barely walk..but she would still give me kisses when I would pet her...Dogs are such loving animals. I will always be thankful for my 4 furbabies..especially my huge puppies that I will always think I saved and someday they will return the favor :)
