August Mantle and More...

The months continue to fly by...
My mantle is subdued this month - a contrast to the riot of colors outdoors.

A celebration of Summer's Bounty

With a few favorite antique bird prints thrown in.

Antique hemp watermelon and tomato by Prickly Pear.

A collection of velvet tomatoes - the top two by Maggie Bonanomi - the others Winding Vine Design originals.

Delightful corn on the cob - another favorite Summer bounty

More Summer Bounty in the form of tomato pincushions

I bet they each have stories to tell...

I need to take some photos of my vegetable garden.
So instead I'll share some flowers from the garden.

Zinnias always make me smile :)

Love the color combination

Coneflowers are another favorite

And finally after a long wait, the morning glories have started to bloom.

Only God could create such beautiful colors!

But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
~ 2 Corinthians 10: 17-18

Blessings, Patti
